DUTIES: Preparation of patient, physician, and employee meals.

Responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.

EDUCATION: High School graduate or GED. High School graduate preferred. Must be 18 years of age.

EXPERIENCE: One year experience cooking for large groups (40+ people). Must be able to perform cleaning duties and be able to lift items. Familiar with proper diet and healthy food preparation and consumption thinking and methodologies. Knowledge of basic cookery, read, understands and follows recipes and basic knowledge of sanitation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for periods of time. Must be able to bend and lift.
